Reducing Bushing, Schedule 80 Polypropylene Fitting
This is a class 150, schedule 80 polypropylene pipe fitting with male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and female NPT threads on the other end for connecting pipes or fittings of different sizes.. It has NPT threads for creating a tighter seal than straight threads.
This fitting is precision molded in polypropylene, which resists most chemicals, has excellent dimensional stability, and is sterilizable. In addition, it is reinforced with fiberglass for added durability, strength, and chemical resistance.
The fitting is suitable for handling pressures up to 150 pounds per square inch (psi) at 70 degrees F. This schedule 80 (thick wall) fitting is suitable for higher pressure than a schedule 40 fitting. This fitting is suitable for use in a wide variety of liquid handling applications including, but not limited to, fertilizers, industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and water treatment.
